The aims and objectives of Blessed Daudi Okelo and Jildo Irwa Catholic Community (UK) are:

To develop the faith of Catholics originating from the Archdiocese of Gulu, Northern Uganda both spiritually and intellectually, and to provide opportunities for them to put it into practice in the service of the wider community in the UK.
To organise and regularly celebrate Mass in the Luo language and to undertake any other activities permissible by the Catholic Church in order to strengthen the faith of members of the Community.
To fulfil a pastoral role amongst people from Northern Uganda resident in the UK, enabling and encouraging the Catholics among them to receive the Sacraments.
To work with the Diocese of Westminster to establish, and thereafter support a Chaplaincy for Ugandans originating from the Archdiocese of Gulu who are resident in the UK.
To support and as may be required cater for the welfare of visiting Religious and Clergy from Gulu Archdiocese when they come to the UK.
To support Catholic charitable causes.

The constitution, regulations, management and conduct of the Community shall abide by all policies of the Diocese of Westminster, and shall be bound by its regulations.
The Community’s management committee shall supply an annual report to the Diocese of Westminster, which shall include an income and expenditure account.
The Community shall adopt Blessed Daudi Okelo and Blessed Jildo Irwa as its guardians and ask them to intercede for its members by encouraging the regular reciting of the prayer of dedication to the two Northern Uganda martyrs at all its meetings and events.
The Community shall promote and pray for the cause for the canonisation of Blessed Daudi Okelo and Blessed Jildo Irwa.
The Community shall work in conjunction with other Christian organisations, including the Diocese of Westminster to further its aims and objectives.
The host church for the Community shall be Our Lady and St Joseph Catholic Church, Kingsland, North London.
